Hi, Harry C.
With the exception of a new torque converter (still running the stock one), I've got all of BD's autotranny goodies that go with their exhaust brake. (also have that, w/60lb springs)
The autoloc maintains TC lockup under deceleration while exhaust-braking. (only works when the brake has power)
The torqloc can also accomplish this.
(the torqloc has the autoloc function, along with "lockup" independent of exhaust-brake being energized)
I like the torqloc, but, by habit, use the autoloc much more often.
autoloc works as well during acceleration, and deceleration... . it doesn't "force" a lockup that your truck's computer didn't trigger, but will maintain one that your truck's system would have cancelled.
I added an "on-off" clicker button switch to the BD brake circuit. (the switches for the brake and the torqloc are both located in the knee bolster underneath the steering column) The button is zip-tied to the gear-shift, so that I can "button" the 3-4 shift manually, and button in or out the brake and lockup.
The torqloc, I guess, would be just as good, if the switch were more conveniently placed. At certain speeds (low) the brake cycles on and off, and transmission goes into and out of lockup ---getting late and incoherent... rich
