torqt management 2011

My buddy just bought a new truck with a manual trans. He would like to know how to get rid of the torq management in between shifts. Apparently this is only on the manual transmissions. Any help would be great.

The automatics have it as well. The manuals are de-rated, less power than the autos. He will need a programmer like the "Smarty" to be able to modify it.
