Recently put an ats co-pilot in my truck with the full pressure enable kit, which boost line pressure, got my TCM Tuned from Dave Matthews. I got some new tunes as well from my tuner, Went out testing my new tunes which im told from his testing is 460 rwhp, Sooooooo I had a couple beers that day and after putting my rail plug in that day, i headed out to a few back roads around the area, Seemed great at first from what I remember, Later on I did a WOT and when slowing down to make a turn im not sure if it was something weird coming from the farm at the stop sign or I indeed was smelling clutch, Truck pulls good all the way through 6th gear, at high rpms im not sure if its cutting out or its shutter, but if iam crusing in 6th gear and do WOT and it down shifts to 4th or 5th, for a second it is smooth, then a back and fourth shutter, can hear it in the exhaust as well, then it smoothes back out again. Is this torque converter shutter or an issue with tuning? transmission fluid smells fine. Thanks

Usually a TCC shudder would be more rapid than I think you're describing (like running over rumble strips). If you're sensing more of a back-and-forth jerking, it may be rapid shifting (like 5-4-5-4-5-4). Can you monitor your Current Gear and Target Gear? If so, I would watch Target Gear and see what it's doing. If you're getting back-and-forth shifting, then talk to your tuner and see if they can correct it.

So how rapid is the jerking? Like driving over a rumble strip? I doubt it is a trans or converter issue. More likely some kind of engine fueling issue. Hitting the rev limit?

Not quite like a rumble strip but it is a pretty rapid back and fourth jerking, it also makes the motor sound change as well
