I have been reading latest issue and manual with interest and trying to determine at what speed/rpm converter is supposed to lock up?
Manual indicated PCM dictates when lock up occurs. What is the input to PCM; apps, throttle sensor or what?
I would assume when up to speed lock up should still be engaged even when you let up on throttle. I have noted that rpm goes down to idle even at high speeds when I let up.
Also I have been looking through all the graphs trying to find the "sweet spot" rpm for best efficiency. I try to keep it @2,000 rpm.
Diesel is running $339. 00 in my area so trying to get the best milage.
