I have been researching torque converters and the mfgs. all seem to think that the front where the clutch surface is, seems to flex. This is why they have went to solid, heavier fronts; is this a problem with stock converters or even aftermarket ones, if the engine isn't altered? i. e. increased HP or torque from stock? Or is this just prevelant in higher horsepower applications with heavy loading?
