Torque Convertor Opinions

I am currently looking at a 98 12 valve auto. I have never even considered buying an auto, but the price is right and this is a nice truck. Enterprise did a shift kit and valve body in the truck, but Brian said that it will need a torque convertor to finish it off nicely. If I get the truck, it will be raced occasionally and pulled occasionally, but mostly it will be a daily driver. What would a good torque convertor be to complete the truck?

I think you are asking for trouble. You need to approach the upgrade as a SYSTEM, not a collection of miss-matched parts.

My advise: Call around to the trans dealers mentioned on this board. There are a few: Suncoast, DTT, ATS and Goerend Brothers. Ask all the questions you can, get a feel for the part and the people behind it. Go with what makes the best sense to you.

Check out BD power as well they offer a 100k warranty and do alot of in house machining that others dont they have torque convertors,valve body's flex plates, transmissions and a whole lot more
