I installed a set of 215 injectors this weekend. The factory manual says to torque injector hold down nuts to 22 Ft. Pounds. However I was told if I understood the person I purchased the injector kit from that the nuts need to be torqued at 44 Ft. pounds. They are at 22 right now because I didn't want to take a chance on over doing it and maybe streaching the threads. I would appreciate anyones thoughts that has changed their injectors out. There aren't any leaks at 22 pounds, but won't be comfortable until I know they are torqued right. Thanks in advance.

Page 14-139 of the shop manual says: "Tighten the injector holddown nut to 60Nm (44 ft. lbs. ) torque. "

The fuel line torque spec is 22 ft. lbs. at the injector and at the pump.
