pulled front tires off to check for noise coming from front end, front wheel bearing on passenger side has some play in it. it had a humming sound. just got parts ordered from napa will be there in couple hours, decided to do both bearing in front. with new nuts also. what I need is to know the torque for the locking nuts for bearing hub assemble. the socket was 1-5/8 - truck is 2001/2500 2 wheel drive. thanks

Hold up a minute.

Are you talking about the spindle nut with the cotter pin in it? Does yours look like this or is it bearings and races?

That is the spindle, but the locking nut I have does not have a cotter pin, it has a teflon seal on it. The socket I used to take it off was a 1-5/8
