Torque numbers

I called the guys at Edge today about unlocking the "HOT" code on my box, when he asked me how much torque my motor was ("600" series) I mentioned that mine was an 05' it was a "610" and he said no 05's were "610" only 06's. I think hes wrong he thinks hes right. Who is right???

I do believe that you are correct.

U have the 610, so he is wrong! The 04. 5 trucks were the 600 and then in 05 came the 610!

Check the ID plate on the drivers side of your engines timing cover for the final word.

My window sticker on my 05 says 325hp and 610ft. /lb so your right, I hate dealing with people that are supposed to know all about diesels :-laf and you know more than them

600 vs 610

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't one of the ECM reflashes bump the 600 motors to the 610 level?

Yes you are right, i've found some of the edge reps to be full of it in the past. I one guy try and tell me that my 05 has a varible vane turbo. I told him no and that he was thinking about fords, he stated that his dads dodge had one and that i was wrong, at that point i just gave up. :-{}

Yeah, i called Edge one day, after I cracked 2 injectors with an EZ box, to ask if this is common. I told the guy, a lot of guys on TDR say the EZ is dangerous and creates too much pressure. He said TDR was good for some things but that a lot of people blow smoke and tell lies on TDR. At this point I got mad and hung up. At least TDR is not biased, do you think if the EZ was cracking injectors they would tell anyone??? Too bad they make some good boxes.

Sorry, but the "610" came in the 04. 5 with the 325HP.

Thats pretty freaking scary that the edge guys don't know these motors in and out. WOW! Makes me not want to buy one.
