Can somenone please give me the torque value for the 19mm fuel line nuts, where the lines connect to the head? I have noticed some fuel residue on the sides of the head.

30 ft/lbs for the ones at the head.

Thanks for the reply. Should I expect to see any fuel residue in this area? I don't see any leaks when I look at it with it running, and there is not a puddle of diesel or anytihng that significant. Mostly noticable by the grime building up there. I have about 30,000 miles on the truck.

Actually, the torque spec. was changed to 28 lbs. ft. in a TSB (can't find it right now). This was changed when the revised injector supply tubes were introduced in late '98/early '99. Remember, if using an adapter extension with a torque wrench (NOT a standard extension) the torque value will be altered. If I remember correctly, my 2" (approx. length) Snap-On adapter reduces the torque spec. by 2 lbs. ft.
