I am not sure were they are measuring the HP increase at but when Smarty was available it was measured at the rear wheels.. MAD'S advertise that the HP/TQ increase at the rear wheels was from a DYNO. MAD's said if you had 60 HP at the rear wheels the torque was doubled also so, this would mean you had 120 lb.-ft. of torque. This was true for all of their power increase. MAD also stated that the safest HP/TQ increase was anything less than 60HP/120 lb.-ft. of torque any thing over this increase could and would damage the transmission. They recommend that you install an improved built up transmission over the stock unity if you were using higher HP/TQ levels than the 60/120.
