Total Front End Re-build

Well my truck has just turned 165k miles and my axle u joints are headed south. And I figure while doing the job pretty much the hole front end is probably trashed! So, I am planning for the worst! I would like to do EVERYTHING! (u joints, hub assembilys, ball joints, tierod ends, all seals, ect,ect,ect)So, if anyone hads done this job any and all parts needed as well as actual part numbers would be awesome! Also, if you know of any special tools that I might need to get er dun. I have also been looking for a place to get the parts cheap???? I searched for front axle re build and could not find anything. My truck is a 2004 4x4 3500 6speed shift on the floor 4wheel drive. Thanks in advance!

gearing up for this myself. we spent a weekend trying (and failing) to get the hubs out. this time we are cutting the ball joints out and hammering them out on a workbench.



buy a large container of never sieze so you are ready for next time



dust sheilds and slingers are on my list, as they will probably be distroyed on disassembly.
