This may be too soon, as there is still counting to do, and we know how the Socialists count votes, but looks like Arnold has put the crooks on the run.

He is a touch too liberal and too close to the Kennedys for my taste, but anyone who can turn the entrenched politicians on their ear, is ok in my book.

There is hope for California yet, with that kind of voter turnout.

He is also pro gun control and pro gay rights. He seems to think he is pro everything for the moment. I'm not sure why he thinks he is a republican.

From ground ZERO:

Yes the rat bas**** is out on his ear. Our local news coverage has less on results than most cable news channels. Go figure that in our lovely bay area the vote was aganist the recall.

I only wish that I could make the money I make somewhere else.

Best of luck to Arnold trying to fix problems caused by the federal government and crooked energy companies.

Really makes you wonder where California's head is at when you see the large number of votes some of the hoax candidates received. Comedian Galliger and the porn star both received over 10,000. Maybe they were the smart ones to realize the whole thing was a joke.

Heard they were selling rights to the recall to America's Funniest Home Videos to balance the budget.

The Federal Government had nothing to do with Davis's BS he pulled. Some Liberal tried that same crap over at RegalGS. ORG and one of the cali people listed all of the stuff Davis pulled off. He should have been ousted even quicker. Goes to show that no matter how many illlegal aliens you buy off with drivers license's, free college tuition and the other stupid stunts he pulled sometimes people figure you out.

So you're saying that California is different than the other 49 states that have had federal funding cut?

Last I heard every state is running a deficit.

Arnold the Front Man ...

Arnold will be just a front man, his handlers will make all the deals, write up the legislation, then just tell him to "sign it".

He will be a tool of the libs since he is one.

I like Arnold ... in the movies ... thats it.

The Republicans sold out their principles inorder to back a person with name recognition in order to get a body in the Governor's office with a (R) next to their name.

Nothing will change with Arnold in there ... and you can be assured that the place with crawling with Kennedy's soon.

What really needs to happen is the other 49 states need to vote Komifornia out of the union ... give Komifornia it's independence.

Now we can expect to see a mess of "Hollywood" types running for office ... can't wait for the Babs, Sheen, Aszner, for Senate signs to go up next year.

What a joke.

The Terminator

I predict Arnold will be dubbed "The Terminator", when he starts axing administrative employees, in order to balance the budget.

It's not Komifornia any more, Arnold changed it to Kalyfornia.

How about Stallone for prez? Rocky/Rambo ought to keep them terrorists away, single-handed.

I just want to say I hope that California has better luck with Arnold then we had with Jesse. Jesse seemed more interested in promoting himself and adding zeros to his own bank account than to do it for his state.

Oh wait a minute, thats what most politicians do.

Good luck,

Kurt.

Like him or not, he is better than the jackoff that was in there. The democrats have done their best to break this states economy. This was a message to the states liberal democrats that they are on the edge. Feinstine is not going to run again so she not an issue. Boxer is admittely seriously concerned NOW, as she is up for re-election next year. Hopefully out. There was a better canidate, but we'll take this one as a step forward. Small steps are better than where we were going. Anyway, Arnold has already made some bonus points by telling Feinstine now she has to do her job. She was on the news and was ****** about what he said. Great.

bill, not every state is running a deficit. I'm living in South Carolina now, and a republican govenor that was elected this past year has managed to get rid of the deficit for this year and last year, and is working on a plan to clear up the deficit from two years ago. These deficits were brought on by the democrat gov. How is he doing this you ask. Simple, he's restructuring the government to be more efficient, reducing areas of duplication, refining the governing process. He's making every department look long and hard at it's books and letting them decide what can be trimmed and if they don't trim enough, he step in and makes it happen. Yes, he's cut jobs from the state, but it's better to trim the fat than to keep employing people who contribute nothing for the money were paying in taxes.

Morph.

From what I've heard Cali was fine until Davis was elected. He is the one to blame for all of the financial trouble they are in.

Yep, and from what I've heard the US was fine until Bush was elected. He is the one to blame for all of the financial trouble we are in.

Paraphrasing is fun!

Morph, guess it would have been better to say is or has been in a recent deficit. Montana isn't in a deficit right now either but only because the state passed support for education over to the school districts. Now if you want decent education for your kids you have to pay higher property taxes.

Check out Arnold's plan to pull Calif out of the toilet, we're all going to have to pay.

He wants the feds to bail them out. http://www.forbes.com/home_asia/2003/10/09/cx_da_1009topnews.html
