Whenever it gets cold, the brakes on my truck become much more sensitive than normal. Its pretty annoying, and if you're not careful can be dangerous. It doesn't seem to matter whether or not its humid. I think that this is a trait of the hydroboost, since my Blazer does the same thing, however it isn't as severe and I rarely drive it in the snow. I'd like to find a way to at least lessen the severity of the problem. Synthetic fluid?

Thanks,

Pete

Check to see if your axle seals are leaking, the oil will make them touchy.

You may have a point there Pcorssmit. Mine does the same thing and have read of many others. It might just be the fluid is cold and thick and the pressure is high when cold. If you come up with a solution, let us know. bg

My brakes do the same thing. It seem to happen around 20-30°, if it is colder or above that temperature the brakes work fine. Anybody got any idea what is causing this?

Things to come; The clutch has let me know it is going to need attention very soon!
Pyro, 50# Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges (have Ultra lites will install shortly), PE EZ timing module and injectors (have Bully Dog step III injectors ordered), have 2 KC Daylighters (Stainless with 385,000 candlepower each), have 2 KC Fog lamps(Stainless 100w each) and waiting for Smittybilt Stainless Outland Brush Guard to arrive, then will mount guard and lights.
