Are they any good? Tjey offer good prices for the NV 5600 and am considering it. Apparently, I don't have press enough to get mine apart. I might still be able to borrow one, but I'm considering options now.

This is not really an answer to your question.

I've never heard of the company inquired about but I can offer lots of praise for Standard Transmission and Gear in Fort Worth, TX, a TDR advertiser. They overhauled the NVG-5600 on my '01 Ram at about 302k miles. They are honest and do great quality work. If you have to travel or ship the transmission to a rebuilder I can assure you that Standard is worth the trip or ship.

There is a Six states transmission place that does our transmission. . very good people to work with.
