I could tell the difference when I was using the tow/haul in my 5. 9, but I can't tell any difference in the 6. 7. Am I missing something or perhaps the button isn't working?

In tow/haul, shift points are raised on acceleration, and downshifting is more aggressive on braking - the harder you brake, the more aggressively the transmission will downshift. The latter is especially noticeable with the exhaust brake activated.

I've noticed that also. Coming from a 6. 7 '08 where when you punched the tow/haul, it seemed to lock out 5th gear and the revs went up immediately. Now, the 6. 7 '12 when you punch the button not much changes. I've noticed that about the only change other than the EB is a bit more aggressive is that the shift points are changed.

This is my first auto in a while. Try it with tow-haul on and then switch it off while pulling a trailer, to me that is the easiest way to tell the difference. There is a difference! Going to the auto from the 6 spd manual took some getting used to.

Run with them both on at all times. Turbo, trans and EB willall last longer. I wish mine would stay on all the time.

I think you can have the dealer program the ebrake to stay on, or defaults to the last setting when the truck was last turned off.

Tow Haul also sets the trans for higher pressure at times, it will cause the trans to downshift on down hills, as far as always driviing in TH, I don't care for the way it acts when empty, towing it's the best, always on, but empty I do always use the exhaust brake, just try setting it and see how you like it.
