Tow Hooks?

I was wondering if anyone has put tow hooks on their first gen? I'd like to put a set on,but it looks like I'd have to cut into the bumper. Pics would be helpful. Thanks

Here's a hitch I built for my old truck, I used to have. I welded tabs to mount shackles, but never did put the shackles on.

If you come down, you can see how I put some hooks on the front of the 90, without molesting the front bumper.
