2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Tow Hooks

Has anyone used the tow hooks on thier trucks to be pulled out? I have gotten stuck a couple of times on different construction sites and am considering finding a set either in the salvage yards or a new set from the ***ler. I was told by one dealer that they are no longer available for the '02 3500's, just the new body style. Are they hard to install? Looks like just a bolt up application with a little cutting of the lower facia. Suppose no one has a set they would like to part with fairly cheap would they?

My wife got me a set for Christmas from the dealer and it was about a 1 hr. job in the drive way. Used a dremel to cut the fascia.

I just installed a set this morning. Great product and very easy to install. Took less than 1 hour.

If I remember right the factory hooks are kind of pricey. For the same or less money you could put a front reciever on. I got mine for under $100 and added extra hooks to it to boot. I put a pic on my gallery

Got mine from a local accessory dealer. $99 no shipping. I think it was a Hidden Hitch as well. They are rated at 9Klb pull. Went on in less than an hour. Had to cut the air dam aboud an inch.
