Tow mirror lights

Has anyone found a way to make the tow mirror lights go on with the running lights. I don't understand why that wouldn't be a stock item from the factory?

What I did, Run the wire that grounds to the running lights, Use the front park light. It should illuminate with the front park lights, and flash oppisite of the regular turn signal. To get it to do both you'd need a duel filimant lamp.

How ever yours is different than what I did. Be interesting to see if this works on the later models
