Tow mirrors - '03 to '06 swap

My dad is getting ready to order an '06. He is selling me his '03. Body style etc is all identical(SWB 4 door) He doesn't currently have tow mirrors on the '03, but I want them. I was thinking of having him order the tow mirrors for his '06, then swap them with the ones on the '03. I know the ones on the '03 are regular, heated mirrors. I figure this will save me a couple hundred bucks. Can someone verify:



1. Mirrors will fit/interchange.

2. All connectors are identical.

3. Any reason not to do this.

Should be a direct swap. I replaced the factory mirrors on my '04 with tow mirrors and it was a simple job. Unless the wire harness or bolt pattern changed for '06 (which I doubt) it's a clean swap.
