Tow Mirrors

Does anyone know the max width of the tow mirrors when flipped up. Are they suitable to tow 8 1/2 foot wide trailer.

They work quiet well with an 8' trailer, so I expect that they would work fine on one 6" wider. I also know that when they are flipped out that they stick out farther than the rear fenders (which are 8' wide).

The tow mirrors work well for 8'6" trailer. The mirror, actual glass, is 9'0" outside to outside. This gives you 3" inches of mirror past the trailers edge on each side.
