tow mirrors

I was going to Dale Hollow lake this past weekend, climbing those nasty hills when I came to a bridge that didn't look like it was wide enough for my truck alone, but running 70 mph what can you do. I passed another truck whit the old style mirrors and thats all she wrote, mirrior was gunk !! The bad part is when I called my dealer he shot me a figure and I about passed out ... $352 plus tax:--) !!!! had to bite the bullet or drive around with a gimp mirrior.

Was that for a complete set of mirrors? Installed? The price of parts is out of control. Sorry about your mirrors, something like that happens to all of us sooner or later. I wiped out the drivers side mirror on my 98 (towing mirror) and I broke the glass and the plastic connection to the arm. I could not buy a replacement head anywhere and my dealer wanted something like 350 bucks for a complete set (had to buy both sides). I went to another dealer and he found another part number that was the same thing and I got the set for about $185.

Is it too late?

I've got the mirrors of my 03 that I removed when I installed the tow mirrors- $100 + shipping. They are in the classifieds.

No, I think that was just for one side!!!I guess it wouid be nice if it was both but that's probley wishful thinking. .
