Had to have it towed 3 times in last ten days , three different dealers... no crank-no start. 1st dealer Boerne Super Store in San Antonio said it was loose connection to ignition switch. 1 week later same thing, Brent Brown Dodge in Provo Utah said it was a momentary open in ignition switch so they replaced it. 2 days later same problem, It is at Lithia Dodge in Twin Falls Idaho now. Cant wait to see what they say. Needless to say I wont be turning it off once I get north of Fort Nelson on the way home, no dealers or cell phone coverage in that area. Do they still have commutators on starters? I know in the past if you had a bad spot on your commutator it would act like that. Any ideas out there?

Thx Jim

Has anyone checked the lift pump pressure? While probably not known for failure yours could've been built on Friday. I think it was the latest TDR issue that Geno's performed a test with the CP3. They disable the in tank pump. The truck quit within 2 minutes. The CP3 in other equipment has no lift pump. It turned out the Fleetguard filter designed for the Dodge application is very restrictive. I think it filters to 10 microns compared to no lift pump applications at 25 microns.

Thx for the info bout the Whitehorse dealer Jack. Lithia in Twin Falls is having a starter flown in. Their tech said he could reproduce problem by moving wires at starter end... hard for me to believe that other techs didnt try that... we will see
