The first thing I do when I hook up a trailer for transport is check the tire pressure. If it isn't within 5 psi of max for that tire, my first stop is a truckstop. I also run my own trailers at max, boat, RV and gooseneck. The boat trailer has ST tires, the RV and gooseneck have LTs. I've never wore out the tread on a trailer tire, so uneven wear isn't an issue.
