Well, we have heard what the racers have done to their BOMBed transmissions, and how they hold up, I would like to hear how the haulers are doing, as I am in the market officially for not only automatic parts, but, oh my, this is weird, 24 VALVE BOMB parts. I know, I can't believe it myself.

Power: Don’t know (DD3, Comp on 2/1, PDR HX35, 4” exhaust)



Automatic upgrades: DTT, PacBrake, SmartController.



Miles with upgrades: 12k (I don’t drive as much as I would like :{ )



Happy, so-so, unhappy: Very, very happy. Performance is perfect. Don’t have to slow down on long steep grades no more. Cruise control and sit back and relax. It’s wonderful to drive a CDT!

Sledpuller... you have enough members around your are... ... . see if anyone will let you drive their truck with whatever you (or close to it). I test drove 3 trucks with different set-ups pror to installing what I did... ... ... not, it's jus a "I want/need/gotta have more power" thing.

I pull 14000 most every weekend, have over 133000 on the truck with a GB bros 3lok the last 25000 . it has never towed this good before.

Happy, so-so, unhappy:Very happy, I have to tow with the egt's on grades, as the transmission could care less if I tow like a maniac or not. I could keep 70 on any grade with no egt problems.

Gene, my Dad's truck, 01 3500 2wd ,DD2's ,Edge EZ, turnbuckled HY35, BHAF, DDT trans 91% TC,VB and upgrade kit. This trucks a pulling machine. He pulled a 28ft enclosed recently abour 8000-9500 lbs,from Ny to Fla,via I81 to 77,all hills and steep grades. The truck has 3. 54's ,he never came out of OD locked up 70-75 mph up the steepest hills,RPM 1800-2000. He was flatfooted at 70-75 up the steepest hills,but it never lost speed, EGTS never went over 1275 degrees. he has 20-24K miles on the trans work,the truck only had 5K on it when we did the trans. Gene with a 24V-wow never thought I d see the day . BTW thansk for the pulling video!! Its awesome . John D
