Just finished a trip pulling our 25ft gooseneck triaxle flatbed w/ btails. I was probably grossing around 24,000lbs. I fought the wind most of the was so boost was around 15-20psi all the time. I usually drive with the truck revving 1900-2100 rpm. I had just adjusted the gov arm to give me more fuel at lower rpm. I noticed a difference. Before I had to hit 2750 to get 32psi now I can hit 32psi at 2450. I don't have to rev the crap out of the truck to get more power now. My egts never went above 1100F. I was also running w/o the boost elbow and with the stock fitting. The truck really starts to pull hard about 2075rpm or so 26psi. When do some of you other guys hit your peak boost. I wouldn't mind more power at lower rpm but I'm a bit leary about my transmission and headgasket. Having more power is kind of addictive. At the South Sask River hill, very long and steep, I had to drop to third. It was fun to try and keep the boost at 30.
