towing capacity

Sorry, wrong forum. Anyone know the towing capacity for my 2006 quad cab, 6 speed manual transmission, 11.5 differential, 4 wheel drive or where I can look it up. The Dodge web site doesn't seem to go back that far. Thanks, Wayne

If 3.73 gearing it will be right around 14K# give or take a few hundred pounds.

IIRC, all 3500 SRW's maxxed at 21k GCVW, 2500's at 18-19K GCVW. It will depend on your truck configuration and total weight how much trailer you can tow by ratings.

2500 has a GCWR of 20,000lbs which means about 12K tow rating.

The same truck in 3500 SRW has a GCWR of 23K lbs, and nothing different in terms of cooling/brakes/etc that would effect GCWR.

What are you trying to tow? GCWR/Tow ratings aren't generally written in stone.
