Well I have not been here in a while but after a long trip of towing got some ???s. First off I have a 98 1 ton 2wd tst#2 plate diesel dynamics stage 2 injectors timing set at 15. 5, K&N cold air kit , 4 inch catless exhaust. A pro tourque convertor. And thats about it. .
Questions,,,
1, Egts stay around 900 to 1100 when towing a 9000lb trailor.
2, When the transmission locks the convertor i get a constant compressor surge
POP POP POP POP POP POP POP This sux and how do i get around it?
3,When the transmission locks the convertor it becomes night time behind me, traffic stops.
This happens most with the trailor behind me but regular driving just minimum compressor surge.
What do I need to do to fix this problem?
Low end is nothing this rig only has power for the flat highway she is a monster, What can be done for that?
