Towing mirror controls

2006 year model with the heated towing mirrors. My drivers side mirror has just about quit moving when I try to adjust. I replaced the passenger side mirror and still have the old housing but the orientation of the little articulating motor is wrong for the drivers side. Anyone have any experience in re-juvinating the motor? bg

The 06 DH parts book shows replacement mirror glass, but not a replacement motor assy. I am having the same problem with my 06. A little thumb pressure gets things moving. Very annoying...

I wonder if you can swap parts over from the powered non-towing mirrors?

That's the way mine is, limited movement alone but with little touch it goes all the way to the stops bg
