I've read alot of the posts on the towing mirror swaps and am ready to do it. But the one thing I haven't been able to find is the part numbers for the non power/heated flip-up towing mirrors for the 2nd gens. If anyone would have these they would be of great help to me when I am looking at mirrors online to make sure they are the correct ones.

TIA

Nathan

This is some info I copied last week from another thread.

"Here are the numbers for the Trailer Tow mirrors if purchased individually:

P/N 55156334AA Right

P/N 55156335AA Left

If the Trailer Tow mirrors are purchased individually you pay way more than if you buy the kit, P/N 822061570. "

I ordered the kit last week from the dealer and they should be there when I get home tomorrow, hopefully they fit.

Well I finally got mine picked up today and installed them this afternoon. Took less than an hr to install including getting out the tools and cleaning up. They look good (I'm sure you've all seen em), can't wait to put em to use. My old mirrors were getting loose and starting to fold in at high speeds and or high head winds so it'll be nice not having to deal with that anymore.

I just got my passenger side power mirror from ebay, where are you guys finding the control knob for these mirrors, and what's the going price?

Does anyone have a convex mirror glass for the passengers side they are willing to part with? Mine fell off going down the road they other day and I am not ready for the mirror swap quite yet. I have the manual mirrors still. Thanks

I have one that I can send to ya. What's the best way to unglue it from the mirror head? Heat gun on low maybe and then work it loose slowly?

PM me with your address info and I will get it on it's way to you next week.

Awesome, on mine there was only one little piece of double sided tape holding it on, maybe using a piece of fishing line to saw that off would work. Or maybe the heat gun approach would work. I'll PM you my address. Thanks alot.
