winter driving & chains for a 3500DWR

now using OME manual towing mirrors . Considering upgrade to extendable, power adjustable, Cipa or bestop. I would apprectate input from members who have installed and used them. vibration? durability?,ect. Thanks for your input.

I bought the Cipa's from Geno's about 18 months ago. They are electric and heated. They have worked perfectly so far.

I have the Dodge towing mirrors which I am very happy with, but a shop here in town sells Schefenacker (boy - had to look that one up!) towing mirrors that extend out, have heated glass, and built in turn signal repeaters.

They don't look that bad, either.

I have the CIPA mirrors and LOVE them. Power and heated. No vibrations and easy to install. Mine came with rectangular fish eyes as well that cover the blind spots. Only one small thing with them, the right mirror will not rotate down far enough to see the rear wheel. kind of a pain for tight parking aginst a curb but I got used to it.

Just got my Bestop's not long ago from Winrock Off Road. They have great price and A+ service as I found out when one mirror had a minor cosmetic defect and they sent me a new one right away with a return shipping label and didn't even charge my card before getting the bad one back. I love the mirrors so far.

Where do you all place the wide angles on there? I have not experimented yet so just currious?

I put mine on the lower inside of the mirror, careful on the right side and do not go too low or you will not be able to see it when the mirrors are pulled in. I used scotch tape to place them while I was figuring out where to put them.
