Towing mirror question

After smacking my passenger mirror against a tree branch it will no longer remain stationary on the pivot point. I called the local dealer for a replacement mirror and was told $400 for a single passenger side replacement electric heated towing mirror! #@$%!I can purchase a towing mirror conversion kit from the same dealer which includes driver and passenger mirrors for $360. Anyone know a reputable source for a mirror that will match OEM? Have not had luck with local salvage yard. Any advice would be appreciated.

I hit my RH side mirror backing out of the garage in Dec. in a hurry did not fold the mirror against the door. Insurance replace mine, but I found one on line at a site called Makeitmopar.com they quote a price of $20. 00 for just the heated mirror (glass only). I lost the post which include the part number but I believe if you send an e-mail to them they will reply with a part number and the correct price with shipping. I have found them to be the lowest price on line for Mopar parts. I have bought my winter front from them for $110, this included shipping.

I've used this place for some relatives cars i. e. front bumper, mirrors, rear bumper. All cars were imports but the quality was real nice at a fraction of oem parts cost.

Try a search on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market, I just found several on there of varying prices.

The trick is to find someone that needs the other side and buy the pair/split the cost. They are a much better price in the kit.

My bodyshop man just fixed a 05 2500 and replaces both mirrors which are power and heated. He sourced them from Keystone which is a maker of aftermarket body parts. The replacement mirror which is just like OEM was less then 160 each.

I have yet to see a Keystone part have the same quality as oem,but yes they are cheaper. Copies are generaly made overseas... ... ... ... what ever happened to made in usa?
