2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission towing mirror wiring

I want to install 98 and up style aftermarket towing mirrors on my 97 and was wondering if anybody knew how the wires should be connected. Are they the same color with 1 or 2 more wires for the heat function? I really want heated mirrors.

Hasn't anybody here installed power heated mirrors on a 97 or earlier truck?

Not sure if you mean the Dodge flip-up power mirrors (from the 3rd gen trucks), but that's what I have. The wires convert over, but the colors don't match. It's trial and error to figure out which connect to which to get them to work.
