Kurt, there is a dealer that sells on Ebay, in Michigan I think. I bought a set last fall for about $180 for my 95. They look and work great. Just make sure they are 2nd and not 3rd gen mirrors. Took about 20 min. to swap.
The 2002+ mirrors will not bolt up to the 2001 and down trucks. There are many on E-bay that you can buy. You have to watch out now though because have are no longer Mopar Mirrors... there are after market ones that arn't the same quality!(I believe the Michigan seller offers these) They area not also capable of having the (conversion to power) with the newer mirrors (internals are different) so that is something to watch out for.
I actually just bought a set from a seller that used to be on E-bay all the time at a great price. Call West Hehr Dodge in Buffalo, NY and ask for David in parts. I have now bought 4 sets from him and just the 4th set is in the mail right now!
If anyone is shopping eBay for mirrors the above statement only applies to the 1500 series trucks. For the 2500's and 3500's the 2003 model year was the first year for the different mirrors.
I have the mirrors that are mounted with 4 bars and they screw into the door. My question is, other than bodywork what did you guys do to fill in the holes on the doors? Is there a quick fix that looks ok?
