Towing Mirrors

Why don't 98-2002 mirrors fit the 94-97? Its the same door so ist here anyway I can mount them? I really like the 98-02 OEM towing mirrors. Any help is appreciated.

I think I heard that there is a doubler plate that needs to be installed inside the door to beef up the sheet metal for the extra load. The part is available from Dodge, maybe even included in the kit.

It is included when you buy the mirrors as a kit.

Kit fits!

It not only fits, it works much better than the original mirrors. 45 minutes work, both sides. I will let the wounds ($200) heal, and then do the power/heated conversion($?) conversion. DK.

I saw some on ebay for like $229. Is there anywhere that has them cheaper? Man I love those mirrors. They make it look like a 2002.

You can usually get a set for $220-240 through the dealer. I got mine for $220. I'd be scared of buying a "loose" set on ebay.
