I got a price of $934 installed on a set of 50 hp DPP injectors. I was wondering if anybody towing (heavy) with these have had any EGT issues. I tow on occasion weights of 30,000+ GCVW. I live in the flat country but occasionaly travel to CO, WY... etc. I tow 90% of the time with my Edge off.

Had a set of Stage 1 injectors in my 2001 and had no problems. Without my chip on, I couldnt tell they were even there.

You asked about towing heavy with injectors.

No EGT problems towing 6-8k lbs. I requested 50hp from DDP. They ended up as 83hp/rear wheels. They've been on the truck now for about 24k.

It is a good question that I am watching. If I ever have an injector problem with my 06 (which I have read about a few times on here) I definetly am not replacing it with boring stock stuff. Is fuel pressure a concern with a mild 50hp upgrade & a mile programmer?

I run KAX injectors honed (stock injectors)I can bury 1500EGTs easy smarty on level 1 cools it down about 300 to 400 degrees they have been in my truck for 120k truck run hard absolutely love it Randy

i have 120hp injectors and tow my toy hauler 23k combined. climbimg some steep 6% grades i have to feather the throttle to keep her on or around 1300degrees. last trip i loaded smarty on 90hp (made 486hp/923tq on sw#5) and now climb some of those hills 15mph faster at the same EGT. only disadvantage i can see is the exhaust haze on the side of my hauler, but that will just have to be.

I wonder if there is someone around here that would do that for that price. I got a price of $750 to send them in and get them back in a box.
