Does anyone know how high you can lift our Dodges and still get under a gooseneck. I was thinking of adding a 4. 5" Skyjacker with 35" Super Swampers

CKeith:

Back home in Texas, I've seen lots of lifted trucks pulling modified goosenecks. The neck of the trailer is taller and allows the trailer to ride level. The problem is you need the trailer to be level and the weight equal on the axles. Without height adjustment of the gooseneck, you could be pulling a trailer that has more weight on the rear wheels and less on the front.

If you pull lots and haul real heavy loads, you might not want to raise your truck.

Hope this helps,

I run 33x12. 50xR16. 5's 16. 5x9. 75 Eagle Alloy's with stock suspension. They only rub when you turn in like a ditch or something (when compressed). Now when I pull my buddy's low boy gooseneck the neck sit's a little higher, but its ok.

With a 4. 5 and 35's your gonna have some major problems. I wonder if it would still clear bed rails while turning really sharp?
