We recently upsized from a 17ft toy hauler to a 21 and find the door to be much harder to raise than our old one. Being that the doors are approximatly the same size so they must weigh about the same I figure it must be the helper springs getting weak. I have lubed the hinge the best I can and asked the RV shop if they could fix it they said there wasn't much in the way of adjustments. Anybody else run into this or any ideas? The RV is a 4 year old K2 built by Komfort.

I sounds like you need new springs if there is no adjustment. Replacements shouldn't be hard to find.

Can the spring(s) not be wound a bit on the shaft like an overhead garage door torsion setup? Usually there are a couple of set screws and several opening for the winding bars to engage.
