Having tbl getting the BFG T/A KO, I can get some toyo open countrys in 285. Is there anybody running these and how do they compare to the BFG.

Any info would help. Thanks

I just had these installed 2 days ago,so far I love them, they are quiet and it rides great, also had some MKW 25s wheels installed, looks great.

Had it done @ Belle Tire. .

I've had a set since Jan. and like the way they ride. The load rating is 3195 at 65psi. I'm running close to 10,000 on my truck now :)

How do they compare price wise? I'm needing new tires by the end of the month and would love to have a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers but can't find anyone that has them in stock. May have to consider other options... .

RDedrick... I FINALLY found some BFG AT 285/70/17 White letters today, after looking for 4 months online and locally. I found them at Discount Tires in Atlanta. They said they have 1 more set left. Let me know if you need more info.

I don't know much about them but my Les Schwab guy said they carry the toyo open country in 285/70/r17 with 10 ply and 50,000 mile warranty. When my BFGs run out I will be buying them mainly for the 50,000 mile warranty.

I have had a set of the Toyo 285/70R17 for about a Month now, and I do like them! They ride very nice, have good traction on slick roads, and are very quiet. They also have the 50,000 mile warranty. Bought them from Les Schwab.

I wish these guys would get the specs on their website right. I looked at those and ruled them out because their site says 2755 lbs. To be fair it does say load index 121 which = 3195 lbs but I didn't look any further after I saw 2755. Oh well. That's good news that there is another choice in 285. Now if only we could get a couple of choices in 295.

Thinks for all the info. It looks like I will be getting some toyo's. They are about the only thing around here. By the time I got the bfg's and had them mounted the toyo's would be cheaper.
