I have a '95 2WD with a set of the aluminum 3rd Gen 17" wheels. I'm going to buy tires and like the looks of the Toyo Open Country A/T's. I'm wondering if anybody out there has mounted these tires on a 2WD and if they had any rubbing issues? I currently have the BFG Rugged Trail 265's on there and I don't have any problems. The Toyo is 1. 3" taller and 1. 1" wider according to the specs on each. My tire man tells me that the 285 is the largest thing you can put on a 4x4 that won't rub without a lift. I was even considering the 285/75's for height but I think that's a little overboard.

Thanks,

Scott
