Was wondering if anyone has any experience with Toyo Open Country A/T 285/70/17? Any pictures with these tires?

I'm leaning towards these tires for my new truck, toyo has a 500 mile/ 45 day money back guarantee. . The only other option is BFG KO's which are $200 more. On my 02 the bfgs caused it to pull, hydroplane, and floated in snow. I put revos on & all the symptoms went away.

Revos aren't made in a 285/70/17 though...

Thanks-

I have 10K on mine and they are doing real well. Extremely quiet and great in the snow/rain. Small gravel will lodge in the tread but won't stick there long. I only notice that more now because my favorite tire the Goodyear AT/S won't do that.

I would have bought the AT/S but they don't have that size.

One thing I was disappointed about is the load range C. Unless something else comes along I may go with an E rated Nitto in a 20" size next time. I run them @ 50 psi front and 45 in the rear rotating every 7500.

I don't haul with it but do tow 6K.

I only put 200 miles on the OE BFG tires, they were just too small and the tread I didn't care for.

Matt- so you are running 33/12. 50/17? How much wider are those than the stock tires?

Well the Toyo is an actual 32. 8" OD. As for width I think they are 1. 5 to 2" wider than stock and they mounted fine on my 8" factory alloy wheels.

The manufacture gave me the tires RPM's and I had the dealer program the computer so all the overhead and instrument readings are correct.

I think if you go 34's or bigger there is no selection to pick from in the scanner drop down menu.

Toyo Open country TIRES

AFACEY, I have been running Toyo Open country AT 's for 8 month now... they have been great! I have run them in sand, rain, snow, mud and towed with them. The do great!

Here is the tread design for mine. Note they are 285/75/16's D rated. I also believe Nitto is made by the same company as Toyo, havent looked far enough into to confirm yet.
