My father wants to purchase a 4runner, where you you recommend getting one at the best price. Here in Denver they always charge a sir-charge for any 4 wheel dr.

Thanks

ftb87,

I belong to a Toyota board and several members have bought Toyotas at a dealer in CA. Some have flown in,some had the truck shipped. My only personal experience has been parts puchases. When I asked her about a Tundra, the cost was too much with shipping to IL.

Their web address is,

Ask for Dianne only she seems to have a god Reputation.

Any questions just PM me.

I still hang out here,even though I'm Diesel-less!

In Houston ...

Sterling-McCall Toyota has $5000 off the sticker (about right for 10% off MSRP and then the rebate), but they have 0% financing for 60 mos.

Looking at trading in the wife's car - we've been wanting a 4-Runner. I love my truck, but I think Toyota's are about the best built auto on the road!

Toyotas are great vehicles. I have owned a few. They are, in my mind, some of the best built vehicles in the world. But also the priciest for what you get. The 4Runners are great SUV's but the Tundras are lacking in the truck department. They are very light duty for hauling light cargo around. The powerplants are not up to snuff for any towing larger than a pop-up camper. I agree with TXRAM, Houston has some great deals right now. It might be worth a flight down to make the deal, then drive it back. Make a vacation of it. See the country while down here.

Enough said. Ramble. Ramble. Blah Blah Blah.
