Once again I hope I can impose on fellow RAM owners for some guidance on an issue with the TPMS system on my 2017 Tradesman.

We were on our way back from the Dayton Hamvention yesterday morning and after ~ 50 miles of pulling my travel trailer with the RAM (~7500 lbs), we pulled into the rest area to get out and stretch. Prior to this break, all was well. This truck just rolled over 50,000 miles.

I started up the vehicle and immediately the TPMS low pressure light was on. Both the left FRONT and REAR tires showed non pressure - the display was blank for both. I checked the itre pressure with a gage and tire pressure was fine. The display said "Service Tire Pressure System". After about 1 mile the left front started displaying pressure and a bit later the left rear started displaying tire pressure.

Was this a one-time anomaly - has anyone else ever seen this before?

Thank you again!
Mark

The batteries in the sensors are probably getting old. They don’t last forever. Some tire shops don’t replace the sensors when they do the tires. I had two fail on my 2013 Ram over the 9 years I owned it.

I had this same issue. Replaced the sensors and all is well.
