I'm looking at buying another set of take off wheels. I want to have two sets of tires to run in the summer and winter.

I want to know if having different TPMS is going to confuse the computer and cause codes??

It will take awhile... But it doesn't need to be reprogrammed ar the dealer like other makes. Mine (my new tpms senders) were recognized within 15 mins by the computer.

But you may have tpis?

That's good to know. I need an aggressive tire in the winter months and AT's during the summer. My Duratrac tires only made it about 27K. I need tires but I don't want to buy more aggressive tires right now because I don't need them. Around here, I see take off wheels/tires from anywhere around $500 to $700 with a decent amount of tread left on the rubber.

Do you need the TPMS? I run my truck without any sensors in my after market wheels and tires. All I get are four dings on start-up and the idiot light stays on. OK so, what.
I check my tire pressure monthly and adjust accordingly if needed. During the towing season my truck tires are checked each day before I tow my trailer. The trailer tires are also check at that time too, along with lug nut torque on the trailer.
