I want to lower the tire pressure in my rear tires, 2017 2500 Longhorn to improve to ride, at least some. Can the TPMS be reset to a lower pressure to keep the warning light off.

Yes..WITECH or AUTEL... Thiers some threads on this at CF.. lengthy discussions on how to rent and use the AUTEL. WITECH works the best. GA a ways form MN otherwise I do it. Takes about 30-40 Minutes.

Yes it can. Doing so is a 2-step process and the Autel can do both steps, BCM change and RFH reset. The Witech can only do step 2, resetting the RFH. There are other devices that will change the BCM settings.

Well that's helpful info. I think my nominal rental fee might just be a cheaper option for most but I could certainly be wrong. I've been wrong before.
