I have an 07 2500. I keep getting code P2121. I replaced the tps. I still got the same code. What does the code mean and any suggestions on what to look for.

P2121 = pedal position sensor 1 performance/rationality

You may try resetting the sensor, not sure on an 07. 03 like mine you disconnect the batteries for 30 min, reconnect, turn key to "on" without starting, and slowly depress the throttle all the way and slowly let up, 3 times, turn key off.

Mine has an APPS, your 07 is different, but may reset the same.

Found this that might help. I suspect ATF entering the switch is playing with the 5v reference and causing the APP voltage to be out of range.

Intermittent MIL lamp with any combination of fault code(s) P2121, P2122 or P2127. ;Very intermittent concern. The customer may also have an intermittent loss of throttle response concern. All wiring tests per the appropriate diagnostics show No Problem Found (intermittent condition). The Pedal Position Sensor may have been replaced with no change in the concern.

Remove the Transmission Range Position Sensor connector and inspect for any evidence of oil (ATF) in the connector. If ATF is present in the connector, clean the harness-side (male) connector and replace the Transmission Range Position Sensor (P/N 56045489AC).

sag2, where is the trans range position sensor? Is this the 7 pin connector on the drivers side of the trans?

If so, my front band adjustment stud/locknut was leaking fluid onto that connector, it was saturated with fluid and causing all kinds of strange behavior, however I was getting P0700s codes.

I cleaned it all up and repaired the leak, that stopped most of the erratic shifting, but it was not until I replaced the APPS, that the truck returned to normal.
