I took my TPS off today that is bad and I took a couple pics of it. Is it suppose to come apart like this? If so where is the other part that you can take apart that everyone talks about? Thanks, Bill

That's it

That's all there is too the TPS setup. If you look at the top of the TPS, it has a groove around the top. I've never actually done this myself, and Bob was the first person to mention it to me, but you can take a dremel and cut the top off and clean the insides and epoxy the top back on. Hope this helps...

Just take it apart and clean it . There is nothing to it . Just be careful when you are putting it back together and put it back together dry(advise by Bill Kondalay on the dry part) . I did not glue mine back together though , I cut out a thin piece of stainless steal plate the same diameter as the top of the TPS and drill holes in it so I could bolt it on top of the TPS and made a gasket and put it between the TPS and the plate that way the next time I need to clean it I won't have to cut it apart .
