Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) tps questions

I put my tps delete in and it works great in overdrive . I do have a question though , does it affect 3rd lockup ? if it locks in 3rd will it kick down ? really can't tell in mine until I hook the trailer up with a tractor on top .

Is that the potentiometer kit? My potentiometer has no effect on lock up. Of course have the ATS lock up controller so we may be talking apples and oranges. Your truck will no longer kick down on its own. You have to push the OD off button on the shifter to make it downshift. Hope this helps

yes it's the potentiometer kit . mainly I was wondering if it will lock up in 3rd gear thanks for answering that ( if it makes no changes ) .

well I answered my own questions about lockup in third today , locks at 43 mph and wow . It stays locked and won't kick out untill you come back under 40 . I love this tps delete.
