My 04.5 threw a p2121, and this afternoon threw p2122,p2127. I called dodge and the tps for my truck is back ordered and does not know when he will get one in at $430 :--). My sensor is under the battery box, and all the sensors I find online are for other models. The one for the 04.5 looks different from the ones online.
Anyone have any advice or ideas?

Before you worry too much about finding a part-check the wiring. Also pull the connector off the trans and inspect for atf leakage into the harness.Too many of those tps' have been replaced with out fixing the problem

Will do, the harness at the sensor looks good, I will have to trace it back to trans. Mine is the nv5600

I was wondering if it were possible to replace the accelerator pedal with an 05 pedal and plug my harness into it. The 05 pedal has a tps mounted on it with a 6 pin connector. I had cummins run my engine serial number , and comes up an 05 engine. Anyone have any thoughts on doing this?

Try this company: http://www.dodgecumminsapps.com/index.html
I have heard good things about them on this forum.

EDIT: never mind, looks like he doesn't do ours anymore.

Well I have called just about every place I can think of with no luck. The sensor itself is a mercedes sensor, I tried to call mercedes and cross what numbers are on my sensor . There are several numbers on it but none seem to be a part number for them to look it up. I am still trying to see if I am able to convert mine over to the 05 style on the throttle pedal, I talked with a local diesel shop and he said he thinks it is very possible, but has never thought about looking into it. My harness is a inline 6 pin connector, so is the 05 pedal assembly, I just don't know yet if the plugs are the same size and wiring configuration.

I hope you find a way.
Others like myself will eventually be in your shoes!

I found a sensor today,Oo.:D. I have called many places local and across country with no luck. I came across a website called (all dodge truck) in Rancho Cordova Cali. Late this afternoon. I called them and they were very helpful and went out of their way to help me out. The person I dealt with stopped on his way home and put it in the mail and texted me to let me know that I should have it Monday.

Good luck-hope you have made a good guess

They actually had the part factory for my truck. I had talked to another local diesel shop about putting in an 05 pedal and going that route, and he said that it would not work. I hope this one will last awhile.
