Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Saturday night on my way to work to do some after hours work on my personal projects my transmission raised a couple of hundred rpms. The first time it only lasted a few seconds and back to normal. I thought what the ..... and my ex who had to have a automatic truck. The truck repeated this a dozen times, I ran all of the probable reasons for the unlocking converter.
Finally when I got there I used contact cleaner to clean the switch and no more problem. I would get rid of the truck if I was not in the market for a home in the country, and get a new one.
A couple more times of that and I will find a home for it, or do the 5 speed swap. Jim
